Farnworth is the closest of our regular areas to base, which matters more than it sounds. It means short-notice work is often possible here when it would not be somewhere further out, and it means the vehicle is not already an hour into its day before it reaches you.

Airport and city runs

The A666 runs down towards Manchester, so both the airport and the city centre are straightforward. As everywhere, we set the pickup from the flight rather than the postcode, and we watch the inbound so a late landing does not leave a group stranded.

School runs and contract work

Term-time routes are a large part of what we do. We hold passenger transport contracts with Bolton and Bury Councils, every driver is DBS checked including cover drivers, and we keep the same named driver on a route wherever we can, because that consistency is the point of a contract run rather than a taxi.
