Bux Travel Days out and sports travel
Days out and away matches, door to door.
Race days, fixtures, the Lakes, the Dales and arena nights. The driver stays with the group, so nobody drives and nobody is left behind.
- Door to door
- Collected and returned from where you start
- Driver waits
- Included on most day trips
- North West
- And the length of the country when asked
- Regular rates
- Standing bookings priced differently
Everyone in one vehicle, back when you are ready.
Race days, away matches, the Lakes, the Dales, a Christmas market. One driver, door to door.
The point of a minibus for a day out is that the group stays together and nobody has to drive home. We quote door to door, including the waiting time in the middle, so the price covers the whole day rather than just the two journeys at either end.
Where groups from Bolton actually go
- Away matches across the North West and further, football and rugby
- Race days at Haydock, Aintree, Chester and York
- The Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales for walking groups
- Concerts and arena nights in Manchester, Liverpool and Leeds
- Christmas markets, coast trips and community group outings
Waiting, or coming back later
For most day trips the driver stays with the group, which means no second fare and no hunting for a pickup point in the dark. For longer days we can drop and return instead. Say which you want when you ask for the price, because it changes the figure.
Clubs and community groups
If you run the same trip regularly, tell us. Regular work is priced differently to one off bookings, and a standing arrangement means the same driver who already knows where the minibus can actually park at your destination.
Where is the group going?
Send the destination, the date and the number travelling, and we will price it as one figure.
The questions we get asked most.
Does the driver wait with us all day?
For most day trips, yes, and it is included in the price. For longer days we can drop off and come back instead. Tell us which you want, because it changes the figure.
Can we drink on board?
On the way there is usually fine for a day at the races or a concert. Ask when you book and we will tell you what the vehicle allows.
Do you do away matches?
Regularly. Football and rugby across the North West and further afield, including midweek evening fixtures.
What if the group runs over time coming back?
Tell us the realistic finish time when you book rather than the optimistic one, and we will build it in. Overruns arranged on the night are harder and cost more.
Is it cheaper if we book the same trip regularly?
Yes. Regular and standing bookings are priced differently to one-off trips, and you get a driver who already knows the destination.
Are your vehicles wheelchair accessible?
We have wheelchair accessible vehicles available. Say so when you ask for the price and we will make sure the right one is allocated.
