Bux Travel 12 seater minibus hire
12 seater minibus hire in Bolton, with a driver.
The awkward middle. Too many people for two cars, nowhere near enough to justify a coach, and the size where luggage causes more arguments than headcount does.

The size people book, and the size they often need.
Sometimes the honest answer is that sixteen seats costs you very little more.
Twelve is the number that catches people out. Two cars will not do it, a coach is absurd, so a twelve seater looks like the obvious answer — and often it is. But the boot space in a twelve seater does not scale with the seat count. Twelve people going to a match is comfortable. Twelve people going to an airport for a fortnight is not.
We would rather tell you that before you book than have the driver work it out in your street. Frequently the right move is a sixteen seater carrying twelve people, and the difference in price is smaller than people expect.
The luggage question, properly
Here is the rule of thumb we actually use. Twelve people with day bags, coats and a couple of holdalls: a twelve seater is fine. Twelve people with a suitcase and a hand bag each: you want sixteen seats, and you will use four of them for the cases. Anything in between, tell us what the bags are and we will make the call. It costs nothing to ask and it is the single most common reason a booking goes wrong.
Sports teams and clubs
A squad plus a couple of substitutes plus kit is close to exactly twelve, which is why teams book this size more than anyone. Kit bags, balls and a first aid box take real space, so say what is coming with you. If you run the same fixture list every season, tell us — regular work is priced differently to one-off trips.
Work groups and departments
Site visits, training days, a department going to a conference, a team to an airport for a trip abroad. One vehicle, one invoice, one arrival time, and nobody claiming mileage. We can invoice monthly on regular work rather than trip by trip — see corporate travel.
Family occasions
An extended family is nearly always about this size, and it is the one case where splitting into cars really does spoil the day. Weddings, christenings, funerals, big birthdays and airport runs for a family holiday. If a wheelchair space is needed, say so when you ask and we will quote the right vehicle from the start.
Tell us the date, the group and the luggage.
We will come back with one fixed figure, usually within 30 minutes.
Questions we get asked most.
Should I book 12 seats or 16?
Count the luggage, not the people. Twelve with day bags is fine in a twelve seater. Twelve with a suitcase each wants a sixteen, using the spare seats for cases. Tell us the bags and we will tell you which.
Is a 16 seater much more expensive?
Less than people assume. Ask us for both figures when you enquire and decide with the numbers in front of you rather than guessing.
Does 12 seats include the driver's seat?
No. Twelve seats means twelve passengers, and the driver is on top of that and included in the price.
Can you take a team and its kit?
Yes, and it is one of the things this size gets booked for most. Tell us how many kit bags are coming, because they take the space luggage would.
Do you do regular weekly bookings?
Yes. Regular and contract work is priced differently to one-off trips, and we keep the same named driver on a run wherever we can.
Can we be picked up from more than one address?
Usually, within reason. Two or three stops is ordinary; more than that adds real time, so give us the addresses when you ask and we will build them into the timing.
